    Also may I add, that scene where Mikey is temporarily held by Ronin(aka Usagi lol) reminded me of a similar moment in the movie 'The Adam Project.' I don't know if that was intentional, but it made me giggle regardless!

    BTW, I absolutely love this fic. The writing is amazing as always, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this chapter. The emotions around Leo's trauma were so well portrayed too.

    By the way, I was reading this chapter while listening to your playlist, and I must say, you have great taste in music!

      I'm so glad you liked the beginning!! Thought that showing the deterioration of Leo's mental state was crucial in this chapter. I was also shocked when I reread the beginning because I thought "I wrote that?? AIN'T NO WAY?? LOVE HOW I WROTE THE DESCRIPTIONS OF HIS INJURY BUT OH MY GOD??"

      And you're absolutely right, the junkyard scene was inspired by The Adams Project!! Fun fact but weeks beforehand, I found this audio on tiktok and thought it would be super cool to animate and post it on my account, just as a way to practice my lip-syncing skills. I'm 3/4 done with the animation, but only after I read your comment did I realize how I unintentionally referenced the movie AND IM GLAD I DID BAHAHHA - definitely adding that to my list of movies to watch.

      And can I just say YOURE HONESTLY SO KIND?? YOU'RE LITERALLY THE WHOLE SUGAR PRODUCTION INDUSTRY, THAT'S HOW SWEET YOU ARE. Thank you sm for also checking out my playlist, hearing that makes me feel so happy!! And maybe I've included several easter eggs hinting the future of this fic. Maybe I didn't, who knows (mwahaha)
