Comment on The Wild Dragon

  1. I think her drama is in the fact that there are sides and she knows exactly on which one she stands, even if she both loves and despises people on both. I do hope all that comes out through my story.

    1. My point is that it makes no sense for her to support either side when rhaenyra would happily allow daemon to slaughter their half siblings the moment their father is dead; and Otto would happily order the murder of rhaenyra and her family as soon as viserys is dead. So, if she is more willing to allow her half siblings to be killed, then I guess she doesn’t really love them at all, otherwise she would never support rhaenyra

      1. Why should Daemon kill his brother's younger children if they would bend the knee and accept Rhaenyra's rule? In episode 10 he accepted his Queen's decisions of non-violence.

        1. If daemon thought that Otto and Alicent were using them, I think he would rather kill them, even if they didn’t want to go along with Otto and Alicent. Rhaenyra already showed that she had no problem asking her father to torture Aemond to death as a 10 year old, so I’m not at all convinced that she would lift a finger to help them if Otto and Alicent seemed inclined to make a move against her.

          1. In the end it is a matter of personal interpretation. For this fanfic I chose to see things differently, more situation adapted.

    2. At least not without a guarantee of her half siblings safety, and that their dragons would remain with them.

      1. You are right in the fact that no side is good and perfect, all make major mistakes that they must pay for. Including my OC. But that is what I love about the world created by GRRM, that is what inspired me to write this, about a Targaryen caught between black and green.
