Just found and read through. Here’s what I have on my mind-
1. Hope Dipper apologizes to Wendy for disregarding her feelings in Boyz Crazy. He never did say sorry. I know Wendy would be chill and say it’s okay, but the sentiment would be appreciated.
2. What’s our stance on Lost Legends and the relevant lore from Journal 3 here?

4. While I don’t want to shove other series into this crossover whole hog, I am curious if they exist here. Like, if Mabel likes grappling hooks cause her hero is Kim Possible. Or Luz, while researching if the Boiling Isles magic showed up anywhere else on earth, heard internet rumors of magical beings and even a red flying reptile in New York. Or Mr. X not being allowed to investigate the emergence of “strange looking koalas” in Hawaii because some former CIA agent keeps getting his requests denied. Or Ford wondering if he should ask those two famous boys from Danville if they can help him with some bigger projects.

1. You will have to wait and see! But as the author, I have a good feeling!
2. As much as I like Lost Legends, the entire book is considered non-canon for this story. As for Journal 3, that’s a bit trickier. The short answer is that unless otherwise stated, assume it is also wholesale not canon to this story. However, I do use it and Marcy’s journal as general guidelines where I can. Although it will be a bit before we get to the parts of the story most heavily influenced by those two books

Oh, I could vent about the double standards of Mabel hate. But not tonight.
I do have one more idea- bear with me on this one. I’ve noticed there’s been a bit more criticism from fans in how Stan treats Dipper compared to Mabel as of recent. There’s probably some truth to that, but while problematic, I can’t fault him too hard, considering the circumstances.
His father, while he may have had his moments, ultimately only saw his sons as meal tickets, if him disowning Stanley was any indication. While Stanley has probably ingrained a lot of his father’s methods in how he takes care of Dipper, it’s also obvious that he’s trying to be better. And at the end of the day, he cares for Dipper, and won’t abandon him just for making a dumb mistake.
I bring this up, because I think some characters will take issue in how Stan tends to be tougher on Dipper; Camila, the Boonchuys, and I’d argue even Eda might scold him, probably not seeing his reasons as an excuse in Dreamscaperers. Dipper might even ponder on this and have some doubts… but I think when they see Filbrick abandoning him in person (the GF characters never saw the flashbacks after all), it’ll occur to them why Stan acts that way. They might even reflect on how their own parenting was affected by their relationship with their parents. But above all, I think they’ll know…
Stan’s not the best caretaker… but he’s succeeded in passing on a softer punch.

Stan’s double standards with Dipper and Mabel definitely have not escaped my notice. Neither has his relationship with his father, Filbrick. It will be sometime before we get to that point. But that whole situation will be addressed in full.
Side note. I like the metaphor of a softer punch. That’s certainly an interesting way to put it.
That clip from “God, the Devil, and Bob” always really stuck with me. I felt like it fit Dipper (Bob), Stan (Bob’s father) and Filbrick(Bob’s grandfather).
Can’t wait for the next update! Oh, by the way, I finished in a few hours, to answer the other question.
Expect me to be a blustering windbag on other chapters too.
