    This is quite brilliant! A clever solution for bringing Bond back to consciousness. Love this.

    Many years ago I read a futuristic novel called "Crygender." In this world of the not too distant future, when important people are dying, their brains are preserved and hooked up to a computer system, so that they live in a state of virtual reality with a home and other pleasant surroundings, even friends or lovers. They are aware that their bodies no longer exist, but are content to live on in what at least seems to be a physical world.
