Comment on Fate/ Moon Fall

  1. For someone that is supposed to have lived through hell, how come he is still a wuss and lacking even the most basic qualities someone with his experience should have.

How come someone that lived in the Wasteland, is so easy to take advantage of, or so casual. That he also never learned the lesson that brawns isn't anything is also rather damning.

I also see no realistic reason why Jaune shouldn't kill Morgan. The risks outweigh the benefists by a wide margin. Morgan is bound to be trouble down the line, so why not dispose of her via a command, instead of waiting get done in by one of the craftiest casters there are.

Also why exactly would Jaune even save Camelot? Instead of you know, the more fucked up placed like the Wasteland, Skyrim, or stop Hell for once and all.

    1. First, Jaune in the original fanfic was tempered with his initial idealism and naivety, less so now he is experience but still naive in certain aspects. He's too trusting, he puts up a good person for himself and others where he ends up in other worlds, making him a bit of a reactionary character, going along the "main" protagonist of each world helping them. He has self confidence issues and identity crisis especially when he sees himself as an outsider in the world he is thrust in. You'll know if you read the original fanfic.

But he did learned that brawn isn't everything, he talks his way out sometimes, usually by being friendly. Example is in the Mojave Wasteland Arc but Jaune here sees himself as a weapon, the brawn only guy. He's smart enough but not that great. He can't plan everything, plus confidence issues.

And third, he won't kill unnecessarily. Especially when it's not needed nor he want. He only kills in self defense, bandits, demons and dangerous entities that intends to kill him. Morgan doesn't want to kill, she actually wants to work with him, albeit reluctantly. His anger in the beginning to kill her was influenced by the argent energy, it corrupts him. Making him slip to raging anger, but once he got out of that he returns to his usual self. The nice friendly heroic guy, that comprises and talks. Even if he hates the person he works with. Especially if the person sold the idea she is needed for a wish to save the place he is relatively been in and made happy memories in.

And lastly... he's in a different world. How does he know it will work on other worlds? Especially when the world he already visited was that in the beginning and is relatively doing fine, he's is just coincidentally in the biggest event most of the time. His original world was besieged by dark monsters too, he thinks the people of the old worlds is gone(to him he can never comeback), and he think they moved on. Camelot tho? He's in the same world he was in, the world he made long lasting memories and resided in a long time relatively to his travels. A year or so compared to the usual three or less months in others. He has emotional attachment.
