that this is your first podfic is - honestly just amazing to me. it's not a medium I've ever worked in, but all your sound editing - the addition of not just the environmental sounds like the water but the little extra bits of vocalization as well as the extra effects on certain lines - as well as your delivery is just. gorgeous. you absolutely didn't need to worry about accents, your voice is wonderful and some of those lines had me rolling (that whole discussion of xB showing off on purpose, god it's so good to get to HEAR it). it's a beautiful listen, I was grinning the whole time - and even though I knew what was coming, getting to really it creep up, listen to that horror unfold (the thunder cracks in the background and the effect on xB's voice as he coaxed Martyn in, especially) as the world came crashing down was... absolutely amazing. I'm gonna have this on repeat for weeks. thank you SO MUCH!!!

I was actually unfamiliar with this fic before the exchange, but that's the fun part of gift exchanges like this :D I got to find an amazing new fic (I absolutely love angst and MCD), and making this podfic was a lot of fun, especially editing all the sound effects together!! And the lil reverb on xB was a fun little detail like, /can/ he siren call people? :) or is that just his voice echoing off the water and rocks? :) who knows? :)
Also ioshsijioobuo the whole sunbathing scene had me CRACKING up, I had to redo so many lines just because I couldn't stop laughing. The story really lifts your spirits high and then violently drowns them <3 <3
