    Finally! A story where it’s acknowledged that Ratio and Aventurine were acting, even back in 2.0! You even hit the little details, like Aventurine playing dumb so that Sunday would lower his guard.
    Another thing is that it’s likely that Ratio made the comment about Aventurine’s heritage also because of how Sunday is listening in, making Aventurine seem expendable to the IPC, being sentence to die and all. Even Aventurine’s line to Sunday later, something like, “You even know about that?” Implies that Sunday shouldn’t of known that information.
    But now I’m just ranting on the genius that is Aventurine’s plan. This story is amazing, good job!

      YEAH
      i really wanted to wait until 2.1 was out before i even started writing because something just felt off about the whole thing
      like as someone who reads lore like crazy some things just werent adding up between these two
      and i know ratio can have a morally ambiguous take on things, just like his companion quest, but this is different, this isnt just a random nameless he met on the space station, this is aventurine who he's known for years. i really wanted to show ratio's inner conflict more through this because that note made me realize he probably was hurting sm talking like that to aventurine
