   I always like a good political marriage AU. From what I'm reading here there wasn't any romantic feelings from either of them during the time of tbe Inquisition? Or maybe from Evelyn? That's gonna make this dynamic intriguing. Poor Evelyn can't catch a break.

   It cracks me up to imagine the Dread Wolf asking someone's father for permission. How will Bann Trevelyan react?

      All will be revealed eventually and no, Evelyn's last break was before the Conclave. I don't think she's known real peace since then.

      And yes, Solas has to ask her father's permission. Hey, adhering to your possible spouse's culture isn't such a crazy thing to ask. Especially if you're asking for her hand after you literally chopped off the other one.
