    I got that vibe from the Bayverse version, this one not as much although they are a close second as 'possible' compared to other iterations.

    Rare to find that sort of representation in TMNT sadly... I'm actually a fan of the theory that Karai was really sent to NYC because Shredder found out her and Shinigami were dating rather than only friends.
    By the time the episode "Broken Foot" rolls around Leo isn't even phased, he's just business as usual. (Granted, the "I'm over this" look is pretty much his natural RBF at this point in the series, poor guy.) I imagine all those late-night stake-outs they are just coyly flirting in front of him because 'oh it's just Leo' and meanwhile Leo is missing the less-annoying stake-outs with his brothers where Mikey is pestering Donnie and teasing Raph so that Raph is fighting with Mikey and making fun of Donnie. LOL
