Hey! Actually, you check a person’s pulse at their carotid artery, not at their jugular vein. The jugular is not palpable. For you to feel someone’s jugular pulse, they’d have to be in severe heart failure. At that point you’re not trying to feel their pulse bc it’s beating so hard you can literally see the vein jumping in their neck :)
