I already love this fic for multitudes of reasons!!! I like how you kept their initials, and I like how you've established their personalities and the way how you can both see Glinda's traits (or rather, their traits in Glinda). Like, I mean usually there's the whole "child takes completely after one parent" trope so yeah while Glinda is a mini Kalena, she seems like they both have this quiet perceptive ness- or maybe I'm just pulling out of my ass lmao. But either way I absolutely love how you've established them and I can totally see Idina and Kristin while reading. You make it work so well!
It's funny, I haven't really thought too deeply about that what if scenario of them being Glinda's mother but now that we're here, that would have likely changed the plot quite a bit because for sure Glinda would CLOCK her budding crush and then instead of "loathing" it's "pretend to dislike" or "absolutely go all in with operation: make Elphaba thropp fall head over heels".

Ahh you noticed the initials!! I didn't want to go ALL on the "child takes completely after one parent" trope but I mean. It's Kristin's character, I couldn't not skdjfs. But I definitely did try to give her traits from both her moms, I think that'll become more apparent later on. I'm so so glad you like them and can see Idina and Kristin omg that made me so happy to read.
No but yeah it's amazing how much the plot changes if Glinda is a lesbian lmfao. You're absolutely right she would clock herself as being extremely down bad for Elphie and make it her life's mission to get Elphie to fall for her... which is basically this fic! :P
