Comment on A Lack of Proper Decorum

  1. I like how you can see his gradually strength come back when he stops using Lyrium! He focuses more in the war table room and ends up being proud of himself from distancing himself from the Charntry, he regained himself again:,3

    1. I love the subtlety of his gradual shift, especially if romanced. His whole progression over the three games makes him such a well-rounded character. DAO: He's an optimistic youngster who just wants to help people, and suffers a huge life-changing trauma. Instead of helping him, the Chantry just had him sent elsewhere. DA2: He's cold, distant, almost mechanical, and focused only on his job, but theres still the smallest hint of his real self that shows on rare occasions. DAI: he's slowly coming back to himself, piece by piece, becoming a person again instead of a weapon. We get to see his sweet, gentle side again, but now hes older and wiser.
Definitely one of the most well-rounded characters in the franchise, never thrown in our faces but always just sort of there at the pivotal times :)
