    1.Thanks for the clarifications. Reading about the thought process behind the creative decisions of a fic is my second favorite thing after reading the fic itself and is always welcome.

    2.Surge is basically the Terminator, i did know that, not just the design, her whole concept is similar.

      Thanks I always love to talk to commentators.

      But, I actually didn't think about it until you mentioned it but But Surge is a Terminator knock-off by lineage. Android 18/Cell from Dragon Ball Z, and the Android arc in SBZ is an extended Terminator reference. Surge and 18 are both women with attitude who were taken advantage of and turned into bio-androids, and like Cell she was made with the DNA/Bio-data of a collection of heroes. In fact to add another layer to this, in universe it's implied she also has the data of Metal Overlord, and Metal Sonic is also a Terminator reference.
      It's kind of not thought of much now, but Metal is from the alternate timeline future in Sonic CD that no longer exists. Present timeline Eggman just forgot about him immediately after the events of CD until Amy returned Metal to Eggman during the events of "Sonic Mania Adventures - Part 6 (Holiday Special)"

        I meant that Surge literally has a metallic endoskeleton according to concept art by Adam Bryce Thomas.
