I like the flashbacks. Especially since I haven't read the previous fics. It's good context. I liked the flow of the chapter from one pov to another, it wasn't as abrupt as other fics I've read (not yours). I wonder if the wither acting up was because Null is alive or smth. Or someone else has gained Null's power, or is trying to. Seems mighty coincidental that they go to investigate the nether and then this happens.
Also I love love love language barrier shenanigans. Even if it's only one way since our little (heh) enderman can't talk (yet?) but it's one of my fav tropes to seeeeee
