When I first saw the farmhouse/coma scene I was just so touched over how they handled it and made it even more sentimental than in the 90s movie which meant a lot to me. They waxed over those 3 months way too fast and really missed out communicating the gravity of how they all suffered during that time... six kids who lost everything and are alone out in the country? That's heavy.
Yeah I understand the real-life reason for the voice change, they worked it perfectly into the show.
On a fanfiction level- both of these premises lead to a lot of emotional analysis.
I agree. They did do it more justice and it was extremely powerful. You saw how everyone was dealing with it, as opposed to just Raphael. Another reason why they need to address their trauma. That alone was traumatic.
Absolutely. The entire show was a rollercoaster of emotions.
