Jazz is extremely smart. She was able to observe enough that she knows Danny packed to run away and not come back. She also knows to not alert her parents. She is wrong on a few points, but given what information she has access to, the conclusions she has reached are completely understandable. Obviously I love shipfics, everyone loves shipfics, but their relationship as siblings is just so INTERESTING and whenever I say "okay now it's time to focus on Tucker" or "maybe we should talk about the parents now" I inevitably end up back at Jazz and Danny because it's Jazz and Danny. They're so cool and special
They are sooooo goooood!!!! Sibling dynamics add a certain flavor to things that is unlike any other. No one gets you like a sibling, no one can get under your skin like a sibling, no one can make you want to murder them but still protect them from the world like a sibling. Jazz definitely wants to strangle Danny into being a bit more sane at times, but she will also dive headfirst into insanity to try to help him. Danny will absolutely do stupid things to annoy and drive Jazz absolutely murderously crazy, but when he's panicking or needs help, or is scared, she is the first person he goes to. They are not perfect, but they care so deeply and unconditionally for each other. That level of care is just so satisfying to witness
