    this is such an excellent idea to let Dib meet the grunks first! Makes me even more excited for him and Dipper to eventually cross paths

      I'm glad everyone is enjoying my spin on Dib meeting the grunkles first! I was kind of mulling over what the most "logical" way Dib would end up Gravity Falls, and that's when I realized that the Stan o' War was literally right there. So I just had to put Dib in a situation where he'd be forced to meet Ford and Stan halfway, and thus that plot bunny became the basis for this entire fic!
      I will admit, I am purposely making the meeting between Dipper and Dib a slowburn right now, and I hope it more than meets your expectations of a first meeting!

        true, this is one of the few shipping fics ive seen where even the meeting is a slowburn! But im super excited to see what youve got planned for it now <3
