Thank you yet again for another compliment, I'll try to not get a big head. The horror of the story is what I like to write. A lot of that horror is the trauma that people in terrible situations experience. Even though this story involves a lot of kinks, or maybe because I don't see it in most of the stories that involve kinks I like, it feels important to me to portray more realistic reactions to the shitty situations that these literally owned people might experience.

    1. I really appreciate that horror approach you have, because I kinda see the same issue a lot in other stories that, like you said, deal with similar kinks. The way your Dustin series is centered on the character rather than the plot (in a good way!) is really refreshing and does a great job with making the reader stay engaged. Dustin is very believably human! And his trauma responses are super realistic, which is just really gratifying.

Also, as a complete side note, my headcanon is that Dustin lived in Boystown LOL

Dustin and Jake might have lived in Boystown when they were younger, but I picture Dustin as more of a suburbs guy, probably with a nice little cul de sac for the girls to ride bikes in.

The characters have always driven the plot for me. I'm better with that way than the other way around, though I might try to bring in a specific type of character if the story needs some umph.
