Indeed it does. I'll be alternating between this and other projects I'm working on as I complete chapters for them, so stay tuned-this adventure's only just getting started.
Admittedly I did NOT think about Neko sleeping with her uniform on while writing this. But now that you remind me, it must be true: Akane (at least for now) would probably see Neko as a canonfolder. Well, she's a bit tough as nails at the moment, I'm sure she'll warm up to everyone as time goes on.
Hmm...y'know, that's tempting. Akane having a fallout with Komichi like that due to her resembling Kanade...I could see it. I feel like that would be Eri's thing to write though, I'm no good writing a conflict like that. I could see it though...Akane has a LOT of baggage and trauma she's bringing with her to junior high for the first time. It won't be easy for her to push aside those bad memories and enjoy the good in front of her now. Never easy in general, really, for anyone who's experienced huge amounts of trauma like Akane did, especially this early on in life...
I actually also did NOT think the student count part. The idea running through my head with Akane, Ayami, Shino, and Kano's inclusion into Class 3 was that due to the "special circumstances" (read: the utter trainwreck states of mind and body all four arrived at Roubai in) the four had, they were basically assigned to a class by emergency measure, like some sort of small-scale humanitarian effort if that makes sense. Somewhere in Roubai, additional desks and seats were acquired as a result of this emergency measure, no one was really expecting something like Akane and friends to appear and in the way they did (during Chapter 1 if you recall). So basically, Akane and friends got special permissions due to their situation (they were practically refugees), and it's just four extra seats in Class 3 as a result.
(I might've just made things worse explaining it, huh... >_<)
