    I LOVE this chapter!!!

    I always enjoy reading stories that explore just how terrifying guardians and paracausal beings can be, and honestly if I were in Dornuk's position I probably would have done the same thing.

      Writing Guardians as absolutely terrifying demi-gods is soooo fun and I'd really love to see it more often in both canon and fics! I'm very obviously obsessed with the idea of Guardians being to the Lucent Hive what the regular Hive have been to Guardians for the longest time (I mean... literally this fic's title lol), but there's something particularly perverse in this way we've kinda switched sides, ya know? We're the ones killing Ghosts now, we're the ones wielding the Darkness, while they think themselves the protectors of the Traveler and warriors of the Light. It's SUPER FUN and I think Guardians should be allowed to be scary and violent and cruel from time to time. And yea I'm also with Dornuk on this one. Not worth dying like this lmao.
