    This is absolutely amazing and so unique! I’ve never read a !No Powers! Story with just a single character staying the same, this is so interesting.

    You can see where other characters stay similar or change to fit the setting and then BAM- Magic! Talking Tigers! Like that is so fun!

    And I love the investigation, the justice league still does good because that’s in their character, regardless of powers.

    I think down the line people will think that Billy’s Avatar is too generous- either too handsome or older to compensate his perceived flaws- except Captain Marvel IS unnaturally handsome and older… just not Billy. They might accuse him of catfishing until he does a facecam. It’s not like there’s a reason to be Billy anyway.

    Dude, how do you explain a talking Tiger!! One of these days the green screen won’t catch him and everyone is going to see a tiger staring at the back of his head- or worse! Stuffed animal Tawky just walking around and talking! At least you can explain a Tiger… maybe. Like those people on insta with jaguars in their house, ethics aside.

    When the JL gets into the meat of it- what is there to do? They’re just normal- if rich- humans who play video games, and Captain Marvel is a champion of magic. I love the power dynamics in this.

    Are there actually no powered or unpowered vigilantes in this world? It must be lonely if Magic doesn’t exist either, though I know that isn’t contingent on the first answer either.

      I'm kind of following the vibes right now to determine what happens in the fic, but maybe it would be interesting to see how Billy gets lost as Cap, becoming less and less out as Billy and more in Cap from, and how that affects him and those around him?

        It really doesn’t seem like Billy has any attachments as ‘Billy’. It’s Captain Marvel who got a job and pays for the apartment. Captain is where he gets his social needs met. O would love to read more about that.

        If I was in his position I wouldn’t want to be myself either. Imagine being beautiful and strong with magic! I would just be a better version of myself right? Maybe he feels that way too, or maybe just until his age catches up and it isn’t unsafe to be a child anymore.

        I love the way you mix actual issues like suspicion and magic stuff with completely normal lighthearted interactions with the JL.
