Ah wow I was way off then, sorry about that! Its usually the yanks that have trouble finding larp systems to play in, though there are definitely a good few there. I'd imagine its not a super popular hobby in the Middle Eastern areas, which is such a shame. The system I go to actually has a whole player faction of 100+ people that is essentially themed around Persia, the Byzantine Empire, Greece, Egypt and Turkey. I used to be part of it but I've since moved to a faction that's complete high fantasy and lives in the Underdark(Yes, I do play a drow lol) Ah my character is kind of the opposite actually, I'm all about the black and silver aesthetic and I follow the Spider Queen Lolth, but I am indeed a Paladin within her Order.

I've always wanted to visit the middle east and see all the amazing historical locations(when i was a kid i had my heart set on learning Egyptology and basically living in the desert looking for ancient artifacts , but to be fair if I had I would most certainly melt. Irish people and the sun do not mix well at all xD) Im not really surprised that its not a thing where you are though. For a long time youd only find it in England and maybe Sweden, but its also hard to get into here if you dont know anyone affiliated with it. I got lucky because my partner got into it before i did. A lot of people consider it a hobby for pasty skinny white kids, but tbh thats really not the case. Most people I LARP with are in good jobs with families and just like going to a field for four days to beat on people with big weapons(which pack a punch lol, as despite being covered in foam they have hefty fibreglass cores). Its honestly an amazing hobby though, and so good for boosting confidence and meeting interesting people :) Oh yes Egypt is the core of that factions identity, as the capital of their region is Aegyptus, and I have in fact met many of the Gods, though we call them Ancestors. Ra is a bit of a jerk and Isis is scary, but Anubis is lovely and helpful. Apophis is the funniest to interact with though :P Ah my character is lovely! She just happens to love destruction and chaos and is perpetually angry(Think Cassandra but if her personality was just that one scene where she's chasing Varric xD), she also has about 20+ children and control of a large city :P
I think Min-Yeong is VERY cute indeed! But the most important thing is that YOU like her :) Believe me its hard to write when you don't feel attatched to your main character, hence why I took a break from my Skyrim fanfic. Aww well im very honoured if I'm like one of your characters :D

My partner says there is possibly a LARP system in your neck of the woods so she'll have a nosey about for info :) Yeah I've always loved the Egyptian mythos, some of the Gods have some really weird and hilarious legends(Like Set trying to assert dominance over his nephew Horus by sleeping with him, and later Horus uh...doing stuff to his salad to win a competition. that one was wild lol). Its currently getting hot here and I can barely stand it, I would undoubtedly perish in the kind of heat you're probably used to :P It is essentially a battlefield hehe, there are 1000+ of us in several camps across the field and fighting is a big part of it, but the weapons are safe, just heavy and bruising. Its a bit like the melee version of paintball. I have a big polearm and a lot of hit points so I do alright. Leather armour helps too :) Ah see Drow society is all about toughing it out. Girls get looked after and educated, boys get to "Play outside" (aka they get yeeted into some cave and if they make it back to me, they're tough enough that I acknowledge them. Or they get sacrificed to Lolth, Thats pretty common in the Underdark lol). Can't have any more though because I got turned into a revenant last year because being undead makes me even tankier hehe
Well you're doing a great job so far, and if you do feel you're struggling to write more, just take a break and come back when you're feeling the enthusiasm again. Not many people can stay consistent when writing fanfics and sometimes its for the best, means you have time to figure out where you'd like the story to go and be 100% happy with it. When Im struggling with mine, I just write down little ideas for future chapters or even work on chapters far ahead of where the story is at currently to build up excitement. Even writing chapters youre not 100% happy with is useful sometimes, because you can still keep the idea aside and shoehorn in the bits you actually like later on. Keep up the good work and don't you dare lose faith in yourself. The hardest part is already over, because you had the confidence to publish in the first place and that takes guts :)
