      Oh thank goodness, sorry if I'm being a bit dramatic, it's just that that trope is used soooo much, and I hate it when the authors just make Percy accept being an unofficial slave and accepting the hunters abuse and/or forgiving them wayyy to quickly for it. So I got a bit nervous when I read that oath part

         I totally get it, the oath is really just for Artemis herself to ensure her hunters are safe, I don’t particularly love Percy just sitting down and taking the abuse either I js don’t think that’s super accurate to his character ooc or not, in this story I’m thinking they’ll try something to begin with but with percy being all like battle scars and war general and stuff I think he’s intimidating enough that they wouldn’t bother him much after being told abt themselves you know
