    jup, i'm pretty sure 40k+ and still pining counts as slow-burn. ^^ Though I guess that also depends on wether you would count until "feelings realization" or until "getting together". But i guess with 10k+ and 11chapters already you're already in the slow-burn-category anyway.
    Especially for a first meeting I actually quite enjoy the slow-burn as it gives the characters time to actually get to know each other instead of jumping straight into bed just based on physical attraction. :)

      That's what makes slow burn so upsetting for me is not understanding the expectations because I think everyone has a different interpretation of it. I shall leave my tag with the question mark, lol

      I am enjoying this story more than the other ones I've written for various reasons, and I think it's because I'm taking my time with their relationship.
