I'm glad you liked the changes! While you wrote this comment, I was in the middle of fixing a mistake I made back in the first 1/4th of the story. I messed up one of my HTML codes, and it removed all italicization from that point forward in the chapter. I fixed it (after spending an entire hour staring at code and deleting randomly added codes), did one or two chores, came back, and was delighted to find this comment!
I feel quite happy with my change to the Anya reveal. it's definitely gonna cause some more tension. Damian's brain's pretty scrombled right now, because he just learned "Oh, the girl I like can read my mind, told me she can read my mind, and apparently never told her mom or dad." Once they get to a break though, he's gonna get the chance to unpack everything that means for him though.
