    OMG this is amazing! I can't believe you wrote a fic about my short film. I am so flattered and so so honoured!

    I love that you've developed and deepened the relationship between Chris and Sarah and given them a bit more history. The last time we see Chris in the film she's sobbing at Sarah's feet (and then she gets blown up) so it's really cool that you've created this whole scene and given them a conversation and a proper goodbye/closure.

    I love the cyberpunk vibe, the way you've incorporated details like the black oil/blood and the green light, I love love love these lines from Chris

    >I knew you were still in there [...] I knew it. I tried to make Dawn understand but she wouldn’t listen to me. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.

    and

    >But we can make her understand now, together. If we’re quick, we can go – we can shut down the self-destruct. We can get you out of here.

    The first one because I think it better conveys what she was trying to do than the actual film does, and the second because even now all Chris is thinking about is trying to save Sarah 😭😭😭

    The perception of time thing is very cool - definitely had a penny drop moment when I realised that's why Chris couldn't move. Thinking faster than the speed of nerve impulses!

    Also! I hadn't heard the word plangency before and it's lovely so thank you for that, too! Again this was super cool and lovely to receive 🖤🖤🖤

    EDIT: OH and the fact the title comes from a Seeming song is PERFECTION!!
