I'm glad you liked the descriptions of Erebus! It's such a fun place to describe and definitely appeals to that Destiny-esque deep freaky lore thing. And also Marathon. It just felt like the natural reference to make. (In that same chapter there was a reference to "of the fruits we do not speak" from the Black Garden, eheh)
