Comment on The Putrefaction of Gold

  1. Oh dude I absolutely fuckin LOVE IT when Radagon and Marika are portrayed as somewhat functioning fucking parents.

And when radagon is portrayed as a good father or at least someone who TRIES. And how he...misses his wife Renalla. Maybe being forced into marrying Marika was bad for the both of them. Since they CLEARLY both miss their other partners🙄

NGL FUCK, I be feeling like Radagon sometimes too. Tbh it'd be nice to have a cute child to protect and bond with. Reading ts activated some sorta paternal instinct in me.

    1. Radagon and Marika are the same person. That's something this piece takes very seriously. And while you will have scenes where they argue with each other that are surreal, they are never seen together by other characters. T

As the same person, you will see scenes of Marika being a good mom with her very flawed children. Her relationship with Morgott is depicted as far more complicated than her merely not loving him. And it explains how, despite this, Morgott is elevated to King in the game.

Overall, Radagon and Marika don't exactly bring out the best in each other, despite being the same person. It's really a personification of "you're your own worst enemy.)
