U know, I've known Harry Potter movies since the beginning, and I later read the books, all the while reading fanfics. And I've never once noticed how creepy it is that a man of 110 yrs of age was looming over an unconscious child.
Especially as he would have had to either do a spell to ensure Harry woke up at that exact time or stood over Harry for a good long while, waiting. I honestly don't know which is creepier...
And not that I think about it, I wonder if he did it to catch Harry unaware and ensure (1) he was the first point of contract to control the situation and (2) Harry would reveal more than he meant too. Either that or it was to read his mind 🤔. Now u have me curious about numerous things...
Voldys pov is quite interesting. I'm curious about two things. If he will try to help after living with the muggles and when, and if, he realizes the boy is quite smart but has been dumbing himself down on purpose to appease those around him.
Both options are creepy, as you said, and even more so when you consider just how little direct interaction Harry has had with Dumbledore at this point. So it's a creepy, super old man in a position of authority who is basically a stranger looming over Harry and waiting, or causing, him to wake up. I'm glad you liked Voldemort's POV :)
