To be honest, I remember someone saying something about Harry finding adoption papers in the books. I haven't read the books, so I don't know if that's true or not. Regardless it really stuck with me. I didn't originally plan to include it when I pitched the chapter to Zella, but it just felt right and I'm so glad I did.
