They're adorable, but I'm getting a very different level of 'into it' from them - like Charles is falling hard, and Erik is all in 'for now'. That is definitely not the makings of a long term relationship which of course is the premise for the story! I'm so excited to see this progress (and can't wait to see the break and then their reunion years later)!
Thank you thank you ❤️❤️ I am 5 chapters ahead in writing and I am getting to some of that juicy stuff haha. They definitely have a few disconnects and misalignments right now - mostly because they are young and inexperienced. I hope it will ring true that it doesn't work for where they are at, but there is something there that they can't let go of 🥲
