I don't feel particularly sorry for Iris because what she is doing is bad, but poor little Madzie. I'm glad Magnus and Alec found her quickly. She deserves a space space and to be kept hidden from Valentine and the other Shadowhunters. But I don't like how Valentine is so confident and so happy at the thought that Magnus is trusting Alec. I have ideas of the things he is probably planning and none of them are good. I'll be really curious to see how this particular plot will unfold, because he needs to be stopped. But at least now people know he's back (even if they don't know just how close he really is) so hopefully everyone will be on their guard before Valentine can get to either of them.
Seeing how Alec and Magnus reacts to each other makes me smile, but it's so sad at the same time. Poor Alec who is ashamed of being who he is and wanting who he is attracted, and Magnus who was hurt so often that he's now more afraid of Alec being really sincere and helpful than him being just another Shadowhunter jerk. These two deserve so much better than everything life threw at them
Iris certainly deserves no mourners. But oh Madzie, that was so traumatizing on her. Thank the angel Alec and Magnus got her to safety fast! Valentine and the Clave simply can't get their unreliable hands on her. (shudders) Valentine's confidence and glee are always unnerving. Things are obviously going his way. Let's hope that someone manages to stop him before something absolutely horrible happens. Oh Malec... Whether they want it or not, there's obviously a connection between them. Poor Alec, he absolutely doesn't deserve to be ashamed of himself like that. And poor Magnus is so traumatized. Let's hope that they can help each other. The next chapter is now out.
