Summary
The man they call Agent Stone is brilliant at his job, probably the most efficient the agency has ever seen... and very likely also the most bored one. Work has little to offer him, these days - only the next order, the next job, the next target. Rinse, repeat. Every day the same, with no end in sight.
Stone does not expect his newest job to be any different... until it causes him to run into Doctor Robotnik himself. A passing glance without even talking to each other is all it takes, and Stone is hooked on the excitement - the change - the doctor promises to be.
Now. How to manage to be assigned to the man?Basically a prequel to the entire series - how Stone decided to become Robotnik's assistant in the first place

Summary
Doctor Robotnik is forced to accept any new assistant his employers choose to saddle him with if he wants to recieve continued fundings. So far, there have been more assisstants than he can count, and none of them has lasted longer than a few weeks. It is an endless circle of creation and destruction - new barnacle comes in, new barnacles breaks and leaves. Rinse, repeat.
Until, well. Until a Stone proves to be much, much more durable than any diamond.

Summary
Over a year of working for doctor Robotnik has Stone made aware of exactly one thing – the doctor might be larger than life, might be a force of nature barely contained, but he is, above all, still human. A human Stone happens to quite like. So it’s obvious that he would go out of his way to get him a birthday present.
Robotnik… well, Robotnik absolutely does not like the reminder of his own human nature.

Summary
After Sonic – well, no, after the crazy day which entailed meeting Sonic – things have smoothed back over in Green Hills, going back to their slow-going, peaceful normal.
Wade, who used to love that normal, now finds himself itching for some more action after that little taste he had gotten of it. But where to find something new and exciting in a place like this?
The only new thing in Green Hills is the coffee shop which opened recently, and the barista / manager who is not a local…Sort of filler piece for the series - a look into those certain eight months, and Wade’s attempts to not make a complete fool out of himself while he strikes up a tentative friendship with barista Stone, who seems like a very nice (?) guy overall.

Robotnik knows what nightmares are, of course he does – a terrifying dream; an anxiety attack during dreaming, accompanied by mild autonomic reactions and usually awakening the dreamer. He knows all that remotely, because he does not experience anxiety. He is above such basic reactions.
He only wakes Stone up in the middle of the night to fact check something with him, that’s it.Sequel to “We were staying in Paris” ”, where Robotnik does not experience nightmares, everyone has abandonment issues, and Stone just wanted to sleep, really.

Summary
One night, one deal gone wrong, and one long talk later, Robotnik and Stone have settled in a sort of impasse, a precarious maybe, possibly, perhaps on a shared future. There is hope, but mostly there is tension, brewing like a storm between them while Stone waits patiently, and Robotnik figures out what he wants in his own complex ways.
Direct sequel to “Only thing that matters ” – Stone hopes, and Robotnik struggles to come to terms with what he wants and what he feels.

Summary
Usually it is “they kiss, and live happily ever after, the end”, but Robotnik finds the stories are even more inaccurate than he has always thought. The kissing part is not an end of a story, it is a beginning of something new, and this new thing is a territory he is entirely unequipped to deal with. All his genius does not get him any further in this, and he always comes back to these two questions:
What is he supposed to do now? What does Stone expect from him?Direct sequel to “Come a little bit closer” – Robotnik attempts to put feelings into nice, orderly, logical lines, and fails spectacularly. Thank god does he have Stone to help figure this out.

So, maybe he should have broached this particular topic with a little more care. But when has Ivo Robotnik ever been anything less than a force of nature?In which Robotnik is as careful as a wrecking ball, Stone is tired thanks to (but not tired of) his former boss, and overall, there is a lot of misunderstandings. They do figure it out, eventually. They are geniuses, after all.

Summary
Dates – anniversaries – holidays – all that is absolutely not Doctor Robotnik’s thing. Too sentimental. Too human. If he even remembers any of them, he makes a very deliberate point of ignoring them, the only acknowledgement they will ever get from him.
So Stone is absolutely aware that this day, this very purposefully remembered date, is a one in a lifetime miracle… and he feels slightly guilty over having to pop the doctor’s bubble there.
Only slightly, though.Companion piece to "The moment I met you" - where both Robotnik and Stone remember meeting each other for the first time, just very differently.

Summary
By the time Christmas rolls around, unstoppable like an avalanche and just as obtrusive as one, Robotnik is ready to burn an entire city down just to get rid of the constant holiday cheer. He hates Christmas. Hates it. Absolutely abhorrent little show of goodwill and humanity, that one is. He would rather slice of his moustache than celebrate it.
The only reason why he isn’t out there, going on a mad rampage to destroy Christmas, is, well. As so often, Stone.The one where I wondered if, since Robotnik is probably a real Grinch about Christmas, then what about Stone being… not the opposite, but more open to it? - Lots of hints to the previous fanfics in this one, so can’t really be read as a standalone I’m afraid!

Surely, with a bit of reconnaissance, nothing can go wrong with that.
… Right?Where a deal goes only a bit sideways but in the wake of it, Robotnik is reminded sharply that his partner is only human, and vulnerable. He sets out to drill the importance of that fact into Stone‘s brain with a bit of a hands-on approach
