Summary
He can’t stop himself from sobbing as he throws himself into his father’s arms. Large arms wrap themselves around him, pull him close, and Bruce holds onto him like Dick will disappear if he didn’t. He’s shaking and sobbing, and his nails dig into Bruce’s armor, claws at his cape, digs into the back of his neck, desperate for something to tether him to the moment.
“I knew you’d save me,” he forces out, words jumbling together with his tears and the lingering fear and sharp breaths.
Or: Dick Grayson was turned into a Talon. But he comes home, eventually.
