Rise of GwenomHey! I’m Gwen Stacy — and you’re probably getting pretty bored of hearing that by now.
So, here's the update: I’m a full-fledged Avenger now! (Well... technically, Spider-Woman is.) You would not believe the summer I’ve had. Saved the world. Testified in front of Odin about Loki. Okay, that last part? Pretty metal. They gave me armor and everything.
Adam’s off in the Hamptons with his parents. Not sure if Dad’s going to cut his honeymoon short — I hope not. My band has the biggest gig of our lives in under two weeks. We’re opening for actual mega-stars. No pressure.
On the less exciting side: my bracers are gone. So is my fancy new armored suit. Or rather… not gone. More like absorbed by my body. Along with a mysterious black ooze that also got absorbed. It hasn’t killed me yet. So that’s nice. Feels like a future-me problem.
Oh, and the Sin-Eater’s still out there. The Avengers are scattered. And it’s just little old me protecting New York — with a little backup from Miles Morales, a.k.a. The Prowler.
Also, I think I might have a crush on Loki.
