Summary
It’d been a long time since Lucifer spent any amount of time with other people. He was okay, he was adjusting, these things took time, right? Just because he eventually hit his fill of social interactions on a daily basis and had to flee back to his rooms for a little ‘quiet time’ didn’t mean he was broken or anything, lots of people had issues, that’s what this whole damn hotel was all about.

Summary
The thing about Alastor, Lucifer was discovering, was that you couldn’t just give him a compliment. A normal person you could chat them up, tell them you liked their hair or their shirt, or that, hey, the way your tail flicks when you’re excited is disturbingly cute and they would probably say something like ‘thank you’ or ‘how kind’ or quite possibly ‘fuck off’. They were in hell, after all.
Alastor, not being what anyone would call normal even when considering the interesting gradient of ‘normal’ when it came to hell, was not that simple.

Summary
It’d been a long time since Lucifer shared a bed with someone. Technically, he didn’t even need to sleep and neither did any other sinner demons here. It was the lingering dregs of their humanity that made them think they did and most of them never bothered to give it up and why not? They had all of eternity to work on it and anyway, what else did they have to do?

Summary
Television wasn’t banned at Hazbin Hotel. If it were, it would probably be a great way to lose any guest they had, lack of TV would kick up a hell of a lot more arguments than having a therapy schedule requirement. Amongst the guests, television was still a preferred way to pass the time and since it was certainly on the lesser side of evil than, say, grand theft drug snatch or vehicular homicide, it was still allowed in these hallowed halls.
It would be an understatement to say it wasn’t the favored medium for anyone on staff.

Summary
Lucifer was of the opinion that the staff of the Hazbin Hotel, plus one guest, was about as bonded as they could possibly get. Battles to the death against a near unstoppable force tended to do that and any further bonding was going to require an application of glue which at the very least Alastor wasn’t going to let anywhere near his coat.
Charlie, of course, didn’t choose the route of physical adhesives and instead went with a more esoteric approach. For example, tonight was the weekly Family Dinner Night.
Yaaaay.

Summary
Really, Lucifer should know better.
No one should try to have deep and/or important conversations before coffee. Especially when the other half of the conversation is with someone like Alastor.

Summary
Lucifer really should have stayed in bed. So far he's spent his day washing dishes, hanging out with the local porno star, and possibly screwing up his already seriously messy relationship.
There are also donuts.

Summary
It's already been a long day for Lucifer. After his quest for donuts that morning with Angel Dust and his, uh, meeting with Alastor in the damn storage closet, he was really hoping for a quiet moment at the hotel bar.
A shame it gets interrupted by the last person he expected - the bartender.
Yaaaay.

Summary
After a long day, Lucifer's evening is taken up by laundry, dinner with his daughter and her girlfriend (he really hopes Vaggie can cook), and Alastor, in that order.
Lucifer doesn't know what he's done to deserve all this. What he needs is a nap.
But first--

Lucifer should probably give up on mornings and sleep 'till noon. It might go better for everyone involved.

Summary
Most of the disasters in Lucifer’s life happened for one reason: He wasn’t paying attention. It’d been that way from the beginning and the sad thing was it didn’t seem to be a lesson he was capable of learning, doomed to repeat itself until the end of time, or at least the end of him, and Lucifer wasn’t sure which one came first.

Summary
Somehow, Lucifer manages to get himself into the most awkward situations. Having tea with the Overlord of Cannibal Town had never been on his to-do list, and yet, here we are. It's super.

Summary
After a long night of worry, Lucifer doesn't remember falling asleep, but he must've, considering that he's waking up. Only, it seems like he isn't alone, hm, who could it possibly be?

Summary
When Lucifer opened his eyes, the first thing he noticed was he was by himself in the bed, the lovely warmth that had been pressed up against his back the last few hours sadly and conspicuously absent.
The second was that Alastor wasn’t very far away.

Lucifer did not need his sex life to turn into some kind of rom-com for the hotel staff’s entertainment. He's got plenty of other problems to deal with, thanks.

Summary
The problem, or perhaps the mercy, of having a bar on the hotel premises was that the hotel guests tended to use it. Lucifer wasn’t sure where drinking alcohol fell on the scales of sin, (if he were honest, he didn’t know how any damn thing scored, it wasn’t like heaven gave him a worksheet).
But hey, wine was meant to bring joy to the hearts of men, right?

Summary
Lucifer had already ignored Husk’s advise about getting in too deep. Why not extend his stupidity by getting involved where he wasn’t welcome. Not the first bad idea he’d ever had, his current location was proof of that, a dozen times over.

Summary
Lucifer wasn't afraid of Alastor's anger, he could handle confrontation.
No, the problem was always what came after. That once someone finished with the angry words, once they let it all out, gutted themselves with their fury, that they would end it all with one last word: unforgiveable.

Summary
For a being that technically didn’t need to sleep, Lucifer discovered a long time ago he enjoyed it an awful lot and resented the lack if it was ever interrupted.
Waking up in the middle of the night pleasantly suffocating because Alastor was sleeping mostly on top of him did not count.
