Summary
A person can’t make something out of nothing. If you want to make a wooden statue, the appropriate amount of wood must be used for the transmutation.
It follows, then, that one cannot transmute nothing out of something. Even if you should stop at the step of deconstruction, a pile of deconstructed material will remain in place of the original object.
Now, then...What happens when you transmute a Gate?
Edward Elric is about to find out.

Summary
A list of all the notifications from the Gamer Edward series. Will hopefully be updated each time I post a new fic in the set.
This is for anyone who’s like me and enjoys reading all the specifics from things like this, but doesn’t want it to interfere with the storytelling. I will be including every system-related message and set of stats that I come up with in my notes, even if I don’t actually use them in the fic itself.
Edit: Just fyi, I’m pretty sure this fic got hit by a kudos bot the first day it was posted because it had like 12 views and 50 kudos and I was very confused until someone explained that as a possibility. So if the kudos seem disproportionate to the number of views, or to the quality of the content, that’s probably why. XD

After those first few hours of worrying about what it all means, going forward with the decision to accept whatever this new territory brings should be a piece of cake.
