Jason learns what that whole thing with Klarion actually did. It's not great. This King Danny acts like a moron but has the power to throw a Lord of Chaos into a portal with zero effort. It could be worse. It can always be worse. In fact, Jason knows there's no way this King is actually a nice guy. Not with Jason's luck. He knows he gets back to Gotham, he Saw that. He just doesn't know how.

Summary
Jason is getting an exam. He is a concubine after all, so he gets it. No giving kings syphilis or whatever. Poor form and all that shit. He figures this is a good chance for observations on what kind of man this King Phantom really is. Jason winds up more confused than enlightened.

Summary
Jason is back in Gotham. And now that Jason has had the time and safety to work through some of his own horribly messed up shit he can finally admit Bruce abused him. And he *knows* abusers rarely keep one victim nearby. But Bruce gets his kicks beating Jason's people into even worse debt. His siblings are safe.
Sure, they're stubborn opinionated assholes, just like Jason. But unlike Jason, Bruce loves and cares for them. Jason is always Bruce's exception. Yeah it sucks, but at least he's the only one Bruce is hurting. Dick had always been Bruce's family, even if he'd only been his ward. And Tim had shoved his way into Bruce's life and stayed, so he was in Bruce's good graces, too. Cass believed in 'No Killing' even more than Bruce. And Damian... Well, he might be a killer but it wasn't like he'd had a choice. He was a better son than Jason, one Bruce could actually fix.
