Summary
Tim deserves to be punished. He needs to be. It’s the only way to fix him. His Mommy is smart, she’d know how to fix it. She’d know exactly how much to hurt him to make it all better.
So he does what she would do. He pulls himself away from the warmth of the blankets, hating the way the movement stings against his renewed rash. It never really goes away, with how prevalent this particular problem is. Nothing Tim does prevents the nightmares. Mrs. Mac had to put a plastic sheet on his bed to keep him from ruining the mattress.
He crawls over the border of pillows, barely keeping from toppling to the floor. He’d deserve it, if he fell, but that’s too loud. He can’t dare wake them. He already has a whole list of mistakes he ought to be disciplined for, he doesn’t need awakening them early to be added. Sometimes Daddy is gentler after a good night’s sleep. Maybe Mr. Wayne and his sons will be too.
—
When Tim goes to the neighbors house to ask for bandaids, he’s met with more love than he’s ever been granted in his entire life. He doesn’t know how to handle it.

Summary
Tim doesn’t hesitate as much as he should. This is one of the most punishable pieces of evidence he has. Dick could take this opportunity to rip away the only friend Tim’s had for so long. He could destroy it, rip his stuffed animal at the seams and laugh at Tim for trusting him.
He could bring it to Mr. Wayne, tell him what a disobedient pup he is. He could tattle to his Mommy and Daddy, show them the proof of his naughtiness. He could do so many things that would destroy Tim, leave him a whimpering puddle of pathetic puppy on the floor. He could, he could-
And yet, Tim still shuffles out of his lap.
—
Tim is waiting. The thought never occurs to him that perhaps there is no other shoe.

Summary
Tim is still gasping on the floor when someone calls out, “Timothy? Timmy, are you okay? What happened?” He didn’t even hear him coming. Mr. Wayne is here and he didn’t even hear him. He’s here. The alpha is here. Oh god, he’s here. There’s no hiding. There’s no one to protect him. Dick and Jason don’t even know he needs protection.
Mr. Wayne is gonna kill him. He’s gonna murder him, right here at the bottom of the stairs. Maybe he’ll use the yucky towel, strangle him with his own mess. He’d deserve it, if he did. But Tim is a bad pup, he cowers. He flinches back from the alpha, holding his teddy bear closer as if it’ll do anything to help him now. It probably only makes him look more infantile.
“Are you hurt? Did you hit your head?” Mr. Wayne asks, voice hushed despite how far they are from Dick’s bedroom. They won’t hear unless Tim screams. And Tim knows better. He won’t scream. He might be nothing more than a dumb baby but he knows how to keep quiet. He’s well-trained, after all.
—
Tim does not know what Mr. Wayne wants from him. But he knows what his parents expectations are, so he acts accordingly.

Summary
Tim does put some space between him and Dick this time, all too aware of how nauseating his pheromones are when they rot like this. As if a carton of milk was left open in the summer heat. Tim knows what it means for Jason to spend the night with Mr. Wayne and it jolts terror through him like he was injected with it. Thinking about what Jason had to endure last night while Tim was selfishly taking advantage of his big brother is enough to make vomit rise in the back of his throat. It’s only the thought of Dick attempting to clean up the mess that stops him from actually throwing up.
Dick sits up, scent pumping out purposefully calm and soothing, the honey taking on an earthier sort of cadence. It does nothing to ease the overwhelming guilt flooding through Tim. This is his fault, he knows it just as surely as he knows that he’s a bad pup. A bad boy. A bad friend who got Jason alone with Mr. Wayne, in his bed.
Tim’s Daddy doesn’t have a nest, but he’s sure it’s all the same.
—
Tim is not allowed to tell a grown-up ‘no’, but he can keep track of his debt. Know exactly how much he’ll have to pay back.

Or, the Wayne’s take Tim shopping.
