Summary
“What the hell, man?” Keith whirled on him as soon as he let go of his arm, a spark of disproportionate rage flaring through his chest, but Lance wasn’t even looking at him, his bag shifted over his shoulder as he dug around in the pockets.
He opened his mouth to demand Lance tell him what the fuck was going on when he met Keith’s gaze and beat him to it.
“You’re bleeding,” Lance said simply as he pulled a pad out of his bag and held it out towards him.
Keith’s teeth clacked shut, the words dying on his tongue as his stomach plummeted straight through the floor and he felt all the blood drain out of his face before it came surging back, hot, hot, hot as he was overcome with pure, unadulterated mortification.
Or: Keith gets his period. Lance is there to help.

Summary
Keith had no idea what was considered “too fast” in a relationship. He and Lance hadn’t even been dating for a whole month yet and Keith already wanted to jump his bones at any given time. But the thing was, he liked Lance. Like, really, really liked Lance. And the absolute last thing he wanted to do was ruin this with his stupid impulsive habits.
It didn't help that Lance was practically a walking wet dream. With his charismatic smiles and toned arms and long legs, and his hands—god, his hands. They weren’t thick necessarily, but his fingers were long and dexterous and covered in all these little calluses from the tools they used and the guitar he’d still yet to see him play. It was far too easy to imagine the way they settle on his lower back when they make out and then slowly, slowly inch their way under his shirt until Keith could feel those calluses on his—
“—eith?” A tan hand waved in front of his face. “Earth to Keith?”
He was so, so screwed.
Or: Lance is hot and Keith is bothered

Summary
“Why don't we celebrate after the game on Saturday?” Hunk suggested. “This week’s homecoming.”
“About that”—Lance winced—“I was thinking of maybe skipping it this year?”
“What?” Hunk said with a frown. “Why?”
“I’ve just got so much to study before midterms next week.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “The workload this year is so much heavier than it was last year.”
“But you always want to go to the homecoming game.” Pidge narrowed their eyes at him.
“You don’t, you hate football games,” Lance deflected. “And I highly doubt that’s how Keith wants to celebrate his birthday, right?”
Keith shrugged. “I’d go to the game with you. I’ve actually never been to one before.”
“Alright, alright,” Lance blew out a puff of air before giving Keith a soft smile, though there was something oddly reluctant about it. “We’ll show Keith what it's all about.”
Or: Midterm season is always stressful, and Keith is feeling the fatigue himself, but Lance is acting especially strange—and he isn’t nearly as good of a liar as he thinks he is.
