Qibli’s smile turned overly sincere and he tilted his head to the side slightly in a way that reminded Winter of the meerkats he’d seen that one time in Possibility. “Well, now that you mention it, I do so love messing up your scavenger plans, as it so happens. Maybe that is why I came.”
