Doomsday prep has always been necessary in my opinion. If not for your time, then for another's time. So I got married young, to a much older, much richer man, waited a few years for him to die (cancer, so sad), and collected that money like candy at a parade. Then I picked out a nice place for a bunker, and had that thing built in another few years. When Monsters busted out of the mountain nearby, turning some Humans into Monsters, I was only slightly surprised the government's decision was to fucking nuke them all. Now I'm closing the door, and I see people in the distance waving their arms, yelling. I should just close the door, I don't know them, but I don't think it's fair to leave them out to die.
Author's notes, kinda:
Gonna be just Horror, Fell, and Fell/Swap variants.
Characters like Sans, Toriel, Asgore, Frisk, and others are really only mentioned, except Horror Sans.
Papyrus variants are more like different people in this, than variants of the same person.
Also, I don't really like Swapfell Pap (Purple) so sorry, but he might only be there for drama, not for a relationship -

Monsters came out of the mountain last year. An unknown number societies filled with creatures small enough to be held with one or two hands. Without their Core, their Souls need to gain ‘magic’ from Human Souls caring for them. So of course, shops popped up all over the place advertising different ‘varieties’ of ‘Bitties’ for Humans to ‘adopt’.
I’ve seen plenty of these poor little creatures up close and I’m telling you, these are tiny people who deserve more than pet status. Not to mention the fighting rings. There’s intelligence in their eyes that I don’t even see in half the Human people I encounter. Not that I’m particularly interested in encountering people. My street cat Emily and I prefer staying at home, making just enough money off of my video game streaming to stay afloat.
Emily is an odd cat. She came into my life freshly pregnant and demanding to be my cat. Her cool as fuck skeletal pattern gave me the idea to keep my identity online a secret by slapping on skeletal face paint. The viewers love it.
Sadly, Emily gave birth just a few nights ago, to a litter of stillborns. She’s been beyond miserable. She goes out every night now, I’m really worried about her.

She is not in the Undertale fandom, and actively makes fun of me for being 'cringey' as if she isn't, gotta love younger siblings. SO, I had her rename the ones she gave odd names, and she did. Anyway here's a story where all Monsters have to get normal Human names and live with Invertos. If you don't know, Invertos are Humans who turn into Monsters when the Barrier breaks. I'm seriously doing this purely for my own entertainment, I'm not joking in the slightest. Don't read this if you're here for the full y/n experience, cause I have favorites and the rest are just there cause they gotta be and for story stuff or something, plus my sister gets half of them just for laughs. It's all purely self indulgent, plus a little 'lol my sister and I thought this would be silly'. This is going to be very confusing, because of the human names, even for the author. I'm sorry this is a garbage summary, it will also be a garbage story, please don't read it. I have no idea what the update schedule will look like, I have other stories I will prioritize.

After waiting in this place for four years, you'd given up hope that anyone would ever want to take you.

So I've seen someone else do this and asked myself, why not? I have loads of ideas/situations for fanfics yet have no time to write them or I end up just procrastinating for two years after posting the first chapter (if you're looking at my other fanfic no you aren't). So here goes nothing I guess.
Some will be longer than others, some I might expand on and make multiple chapters, but I don't think I'll make them into full fanfics. Some will have more oc's or more lore/backstory and some won't have any. Some will be about specific skeletons, others will be about all of them. There will be different tropes, jobs and personalities for Reader, and I might make them into a bit of a self-insert sometimes.
Again, if anyone likes any of these, please feel free to use them! But do tell me, mostly to read the end result ;)

More than a few stories exist where a creator is dropped into a 'skeletons stuck in a certain world' scenario.
Fewer still are the tales of creators becoming skeletons themselves.
___I joined the Undertale fandom a long time ago, but when I started writing down some ideas I had, I never would have expected joining it to be meant in a literal sense, and I definitely would not have expected my sibling to join me on our adventure.
