While no good borderlands tale wouldn’t be complete without our beloved Vault Hunters of all kinds, which [thankfully] we do get, however this one tells a shocking tale of, dare I say it, such an unique individual. Who might they be? You guessed it! Not a Vault Hunter! Ha-hah! …oh, you’re still here.

Tighten your seat belts because it looks like our Non-Vault Hunter “main character” in this garbage can of a story is aboard a familiar ship that is barreling towards a very notable planet… whose sky was ripped from a roaring blaze not so long ago.

Summary
Vex can't help but feel like she's being watched. She's considered a variety of explanations: a) the mounting stress of staying one step ahead of the Order and holding a very fragile Crimson Resistance together, b) the Timekeeper trying to get the upper hand through her Bolt, c) a strange side effect of her Siren powers. She's surprised to learn that the answer is d) none of the above.

Summary
(Based off the skins for all 4 vhs, Fought the Law and how Vex's eyes aren't yellow but pink.)
After being captured by the Timekeeper and imprisoned, the four Vault Hunters never had the chance to break free, nor any aid in escape. The Timekeeper, realizing they all would be problems, chose an easier path with instead simply using the bolts already installed and blocking old memories to be replaced with carefully crafted new ones. With the four of them now in his command, its never been easier to keep control on Kairos.
However, control never lasts, and sirens tend to react poorly to being captured and contained. After reaching a thresehold in strength, Vex's powers finally burn out the bolt and from there, freeing her from the Timekeeper's grasp.
But now she's an enemy to the only people she cared about and left forced to run with only memories muddled between reality and false creations, left wondering if even her love and relationship was real or just another tactic to keep her obedient. If that wasn't hard enough to deal with, everyone else outside of the Order have grown to fear her for what she and the others have done to them, leaving her with no one willing to trust or hear her out no matter what she says. -

Summary
A one shot smut with a (semi-)plot I started for my own entertainment but then it kept going and going… and here we are.
For context, Rafa and Harper have known each other for weeks at this point. Also this, of course, is an AU where all Vaulties/most canon characters are(will be) involved in from the canon story (non-sexual interactions for clarification). Eventually I’ll come up with how all four are being blocked from any control from the Timekeeper since there is only one E-4. Planning on more SFW entries for this OC as well as maybe two more NSFW one shots… for now enjoy this garble.
Update: Harper’s story “Uncta Fulgur” Part One of the Prologue out now!! This piece will be inserted half way as an interlude!! (:

“There is only so much your friend can do for you in the Phase, Rafa.” The Timekeeper’s voice echoed in his ears. “He cannot keep you there forever. As such, his protection will only last so long.”
“You will eventually succumb to the effects the Phase has on non-sirens; your brain will tear itself apart as it attempts to understand its surroundings, and you will die an agonizing death.” The Timekeeper’s voice dipped low, volume nearly a whisper. “I can ensure you do not suffer that fate. I can fix you”
“I don’t believe you.” Rafa replied through gritted teeth.
“I’m aware.” The Timekeeper said, chuckling lightly. “But I’m afraid this decision may not be up to you. Anymore, that is.”

(A.K.A; what if Arjay was like 5% more insane and also gay for Rafa. Gearbox should've let my boy be crazier. Also the Timekeeper/Rafa tag is just there because I think Gearbox should've made the Timekeeper more of an obsessive freak.) -
