Summary
I had a crazy idea to write a story in which Bucky Barnes somehow falls through a portal (or maybe just hits his head) and finds himself.... in Middle-Earth. You read that correctly. About the Middle of the Third Age, to be precise.
Is it a dream, or is he really here, encountering Elves, Dwarves and some very strange Men - as well as an Orc or two and maybe even Gandalf at some point? I have not made up my mind up, but I hope to have fun with a modern superhuman lost in a very strange world, full of creatures just as powerful as him.
I don't know how this will turn out, or how people will like it, but here's my first chapter.
The author is European, hence the spelling and forgive me if I get any details about the American landscape wrong.

In 1974 of the Third Age, Sauron commits an action of such scope and reach, that it forces Eru to take a more active hand as the third Age ends, and a new one begins.
Beleriand rises from the sea, long before it was prophecized to, and the continents of the world are rearranged much closer to how they would become much later.
And five 5 Kings and Princes of men are given knowledge and foresight from a future time that is now never to pass.
The first hero of the tale is one of these, one King Arvedui, last king of Arthedain, and in another time, the ancestor of Aragorn II, Ellesar the Elvenstone, king of the Reunited Kingdom.
His quest is simple. Kill the Witch King of Angmar, and remake his shattered Kingdom in a new world.

Rescues will be attempted, and wars will be fought, one seeming more hopeless than the other. And of course the fate of Middle Eath relies on their success.Series
