Bakuda wants the Undersiders a little bit more than in canon, maybe she accidently promised one extra zero to Uber and L33t, maybe the video game duo just had a little bit more gear on hand.
Regardless of the exact reason, they come at the Undersiders during the bank job and because of a loaned grenade, the Undersiders and Amy find themselves some place else, some place they've never heard of.

Madison Clements didn't realise she'd triggered until the bright blue text box appeared in front of her, telling her she was just as terrible a person as she always knew she was, but offering her a single chance of redemption. Madison wasn't sure powers were supposed to work like that, but she'll take the second chance with both hands and hopefully begin to start putting things right.
Or: A story where Madison Clements becomes a Hero, mostly accidentally kidnaps at least three people at various points along the way, gives Armsmaster a headache, Coil a migraine and Taylor Hebert the most confusing morning of her life. The fact that these were all technically the ideas of Madison's power very much does not make things better in Lisa Wilbourn's opinion.

Summary
The Celestial Forge is the greatest combination of crafting powers in Jumpchain, meaning it is the greatest combination of crafting abilities in all of fiction. In Brockton Bay a forgotten side character's trigger event ends with him linked to the Celestial Forge rather than his intended shard. His slowly expanding collection of tinker abilities and the influence of his new benefactor pulls him into the heart of the conflict about to rock the city and decide the fate of the world.
As part of a writing experiment that turned into a narrative. Perks and items form the Celestial Forge (pastebin.com/35AJD9Lj) are selected randomly based on progress through the story. Ultimately an excuse to explore the technology and crafting abilities of multiple sources of fiction.

A fan of Worm is given the Worm CYOA by [irrelevant cosmic BS] and arrives in Worm in the body of a teenager. He is convinced of his own superiority and intellect, and has been given an extraordinarily overpowered suite of abilities. Can he work around a massive ego and take control of Brockton Bay, while also preventing the destruction of the world that occurred in canon?
This story does assume you've read Worm. I feel like that shouldn't be a disclaimer I have to make, but it is, apparently.

Being in the body of a skinny teenager is bad but acceptable.
Changing from a man's body to a woman's was weird and strange.
Waking up in a cramped space filled to the brim with trash, the odd used needle, stained earplugs, glue, and old bandages wasn't what I imagined... it was even worse.
Having an interstellar parasite from an alien with a negatively developed emotional sense attached to her brain was... curious.

After Coil's power misfires, the Parahumans setting shifts to an Alternate timeline; the GayU. A parahumans universe where every major character is much gayer.
An ensemble cast of the characters early in Worm. The Dallon sisters volunteer, serving food with their church. Rachel Lindt is about to join the all transgender undersiders. Sophia Hess is about to join the gay wards. Taylor Hebert is about to be placed in a mental institution with no particular sexual or gender identity.
