For my 30th vid, I had to feature my favorite subject: Snape. This song, by the extremely talented wizard rock band Ministry of Magic, is a fabulous tribute to the best character in the Harry Potter series. I have seen other folks make vids to this song, but I had to do my own. Enjoy the video!

Summary
Alternative ending vid where Snape has the same past as he does in canon. He was in love with Lily as a child, but as Harry gets older he starts to take interest. Harry is also drawn to Severus, but is confused by this attraction. The events of HBP take place, but Draco doesn't disarm Dumbledore and Snape is the master of the Elder Wand. While he is in hiding, he lurks around Hogwarts and manages to tell Harry about his plan for them to defeat Voldemort together. They succeed and realize that their intertwined pasts have brought them together. The video ends with Harry thinking about the history of their relationship and everything Snape has done for him.

This vid is supposed to represent Harry's realization of Snape's true character. In the 7th book, Harry refers to Snape as the bravest man he knew, but we never see how this perspective develops. One minute he is at Snape's side while he bleeds to death and the next...Albus Severus Potter. This vid attempts to fill in the missing pieces. It can be interpreted as slash, but I don't think it has to be.
