Summary
After his defeat at the hands of Dante, Vergil’s body is battered and broken, yet he survives. Unconscious and wounded, he is discovered by Katherine “Kat” Chavez, an 18-year-old with latent Wiccan powers and the rare ability to see the demonic Limbo. Despite the danger he represents, Kat takes him home, tending his wounds and letting him stay, ignoring the protests against this from her overprotective half-brother Óscar.
