Summary
“I wouldn’t expect you to know much about it, actually. I mean,” Danny laughs at him with a strained grimace, probably hoping for it to come across as rakish and mean, “you’re not that big yourself.”
Jack crooks his eyebrow at him. “Right. At this point, that’s all water under the bridge for me, unfortunately for you. Try again.”
“W-well,” Danny stutters, quickly growing red in the face. Easy now, Jack thinks and tries not to laugh. “You wouldn’t be saying that if you had one. The ladies love it.”
Alright. The laugh bursts out of him unbidden and unrestrained. And Danny, if at all possible, grows even redder in the face.
