The fan came to one of Satoru’s fan events, clearly very excited at the possibility of interacting with his adored idol, but he did not get the chance to interact with Satoru further than the 5-minute time limit, and threatened to hurt Satoru, leading him to be escorted out.
That was the moment Satoru decided it was time for him to get some form of protection, which hurt him a bit because he genuinely loved being as close in proximity to his fans. So, he hired Suguru. Satoru was impressed with Suguru’s credentials and his former martial arts experience, and he also partly hired him because he was gorgeous to look at.
