Summary
On what seemed to be just another usual lonely day, Susie stumbles upon someone's lost human out in the woods. She would have never guessed this encounter would lead to her very first friend... but being friends with someone else’s pet? This may be more challenging than she thought...
Especially when she finds herself dropped into the dark with a prophecy spouting prince, a destiny that refuses to be ignored, and companions she has to lead around by the leash.
And to top it all off she has to become some kind of hero of legend? Not really what she signed up for... but Susie is determined to do whatever it takes to protect her newfound friends, no matter how deep the darkness gets.

Summary
A supplementary set of snippets prequeling the events of my main work, Monster's Best Friend.
To quickly summarize, Monster's Best Friend takes place in an AU. The main difference from canon being that thousands of years ago monsters domesticated humans and now keep them as pets no differently than one would a dog or a cat.
So if you've wanted to read a fic where Kris being dog coded is taken to the most literal point it can be, this is the AU 4U.
The main work follows along from Susie's perspective who one day finds Krismas, the family pet of the newly arrived Holidays, out in the woods and the two become fast friends.
This short story will follow the Holiday family before they move to Hometown. The perspective may shift from chapter to chapter, and the chapters themselves may not necessarily be in sequential order.
